Special Projects
Montana Historic Quilt Project
The Montana Historic Quilt Project has been assisting in the documentation of quilts throughout the state since 1987. The project is designed to provide a central registry for historic quilts around Montana. Information on the quilt, the quilter, and the quilt owner, as well as photographs of the quilt, is gathered through a formalized registration process and then stored in the Montana Historical Society Archives.
